Responsibilities:
70/30 split
- Conduct psychosocial assessments
- Provide counseling and support to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Complete diagnosis and treatment plan for each client
- Utilize coding system to document patient interactions and treatment plans
- appropriately document all client interactions
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with, clients their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Empathy and compassion in working with individuals facing mental health challenges
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques
- Understanding of special education principles and strategies for supporting individuals with special needs
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment plans and monitor progress
